Performance Health is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to start up our new site in Salt Lake City.The Distribution Center Manager has full site responsibility for our highly automated distribution center, accountable for safety, service, quality, cost, and people. This role leads end-to-end DC operations, including inbound, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, value-add, and returns. Partners across Maintenance/Engineering, IT, Safety, Finance, and HR to ensure material-handling systems operate efficiently. Drives labor strategy, KPI performance, continuous improvement, and a high-performance culture. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesOwn day-to-day DC performance and long-range operational planningMaximize throughput and uptime of automated systemsMonitor and course-correct key KPIs: UPH/LPH, on-time ship %, cycle time, dock-to-stock, accuracy, cost per unitLead supervisors/managers and 100–300+ hourly associates; oversee staffing, training, development, and performanceChampion safety programs; ensure OSHA compliance and incident reductionImprove quality and reduce defects/mis-ships through structured problem-solvingManage budgets, labor spending, and operational cost controlsLead Lean/Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste and optimize layout, flow, and standard workPlan seasonal/peak capacity, shift structures, and contingency plansCoordinate with Supply Chain, Transportation, Finance, IT, and Customer Service to support operational goalsPresent site performance and risks in weekly/monthly business reviewsMaintain SOPs, training matrices, audit readiness, and business continuity plansPerforms other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent experience and education7+ years of distribution/fulfillment operations experience, including 3+ years leading large teams in automated environmentsExperience with WMS/WES/WCS systems and engineered labor standardsStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated success owning site-level KPIs and leading leadersAbility to travel 10-25% of the time, including overnight travel BenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary and the opportunity to earn bonus, plus benefits.
