Warehouse Lead
710 Service Techs - East Service New Castle, Delaware, USPerformance Health is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join our team. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure that our products and processes meet customer needs efficiently. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by making sure our products and processes meets the needs of our customers. Performs general warehouse duties to include operating equipment and maintaining optimal running warehouse. Job duties include receiving capital equipment into warehouse, managing inventory, and may include some delivery and installing equipment at customer facility, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead daily warehouse operations, setting a high standard for efficiency and organization. Safely operate a 26-foot or less box truck. Load and unload truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries, and ensure all team members understand safety protocols.Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.Fill customer orders by retrieving product from the warehouse.Check in and put away product, verifying quantities and quality of received product. Reporting damaged product received. Maintain clear isles and walkways. Ensure product is properly organized. Proactively identifying areas for improvement in safety, layout, and workflow.Continuously update product knowledge. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability. Know location of product in warehouse.Report back orders or discrepancies to manager.Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as required following through on discrepancies as needed.Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditionsDrive company vehicle to make customer deliveries, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures. Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials and acceptable driving record.Performs other duties as assigned Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent3-5 years of experience in warehouse and/or delivery and installation of products, preferably capital equipmentBasic Warehouse Management System knowledgeExperience operating a delivery truckMust have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; CDL not required but desirable Forklift certification desired, not requiredMust be able to lift/move 50 -100 pounds Ability to travel 25-50% of the time which includes daily travel for deliveries and some overnight travel as neededAbility to work overtime as needed, typically early mornings BenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $25.00 - $30.00 and the opportunity to earn bonus, plus benefits.
