Service Technician I

Performance Health is looking for an Equipment Service Technician to join our growing Field Service team. As a Service Technician, you provide troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical repair, calibration, and safety inspection of rehab medical devices and exercise equipment onsite at customer locations. The Service Technician learns and follows manufacturer guidelines relative to repair of devices. Training is supplied by a mentorship program with other technicians, manufacturers and online training courses. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesFollowing specific manufacturer, Federal, State and BRH guidelines related to all repairsDetermining equipment, tools and maps needed to complete delivery or installExchanging of electrotherapy devices and/or accessories for repairEnsuring all equipment is fully functional before leaving customers facilityRelaying any specific problems to Service Manager and/or Capital Service team following each deliveryCompleting all related paperwork and managing vehicle inventoryPerforming other duties as assignedJob QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1-2 years of experience as a medical equipment and/or fitness equipment service technician Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Electrical/hydraulic and mechanical experienceAbility to travel daily within assigned territoryStrong customer service skills Ability to lift 50+ pounds Strong work ethic with a proven successful track record Organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $20.00 - $25.00 plus benefits.Company van, laptop, cell phone provided.
