Performance Health is seeking a Production Lead to join our team in Cedarburg. In this role, you will be responsible for leading team members through the process of manufacturing, assembling and packaging products and ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.The production lead will make decisions on the planning and utilization of personnel, equipment and other resources used in production process to meet daily customer demand and production schedule requirements. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, safe work environment and instruct team members on emergency procedures and proper use of safety equipmentEnsure all regulatory and quality policies are being followed through the use of internal departmental audits and continual inspections along with initiating corrective action(s) as needed to resolve any non-conformityOrganize, plan and expedited work assignments to ensure customer demand and daily production goals are achievedSupport Management Objectives and transition team members through process and procedure changes that improve daily productivity, increase efficiency and profitabilityMaintain knowledge of all operations within assigned departments and Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and increase productivityEnsure that proper inventory levels are maintained and accurate while supporting inventory reduction initiativesTrain Employees to company standards and ensure all required policies and procedures are followedPerform machine setup and troubleshooting as requiredMaintain Attendance PTO/FH/TimesheetsAssist in the evaluation, hiring, firing and disciplinary actions of employeesAssist with daily operational MetricsComplete and maintain auditor certification trainingActively participate as a team member in all phases of the production processAttend all required meetings Performs other duties as assigned Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing operations with previous supervisory experience Experience with Microsoft Office SoftwareAbility to solve problems and can quickly adapt to changes on the production floorMust have effective communication skills, confidence and be able to coach, influence, and motivate your teamHave integrity, be respectful, promote company values, and lead by exampleMust be versatile, flexible and able to adapt to changeDelegate and facilitate as neededStreamline conflict and conflictive employees while being fair/impartialAbility to operate a fork truck BenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $26.00 - $28.00 and the opportunity to earn bonus, plus benefits.
