Performance Health is seeking a Production Worker III to join our team in Akron, OH. In this role, you will ensure that quality standards are met throughout the entire production process from raw materials to finished goods. This position operates equipment to produce finished goods in a variety of our areas: Synthetic Extrusion, Rubber Tubing, Braiders, TPE, Aquatics and Miscellaneous Therapy and Parabath. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesTrains and assists in supervision of associates. Performs final inspections of products Assembly and sub-assembly operations Operates various machinery including but not limited to; band saw, rivet machine, water jets, presses, grinders, molders, splint formers, perforators, buffers, coaters, extruders, buoy manufacturing, etc. Quality assurance of products, material maintenance and material handling Monitors, controls, and trouble shoots machines Picks and packs products and fills orders as needed Operates Lift truckPerforms other duties as assigned Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required4-6 years of experience working in a manufacturing environmentIntermediate computer skills required (familiarity with MS Office Products)AS400 experience a plusAbility to lift/move up to 50 poundsAbility to stand/stoop/bend BenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $17.00 plus benefits.
