Performance Health is looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our production team in Akron, OH. This position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing facility and production equipment by performing the essential job duties.This is a 2nd shift position working 2pm-10pm Monday through Friday. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintenance troubleshooting and repairs for plant facility and production equipmentResponsible for building repairs, lighting, hvac, plumbing and wiringPreventative maintenance for production equipment.Basic knowledge of facility equipment such as: boiler, chiller and hvac for minor repairs.Upgrade equipment by engineering and fabricating partsResponsible for installing new equipment, as required.Electrical repair experience, light duty wiring and electrical troubleshooting.Performs other duties as assigned. Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent as a minimum.5+ years of experience working with machines and controls.Completed certification from college or technical school is highly preferred.Knowledge and use of CMMS maintenance work order systemsKnowledge of word processing software and order processing systemsAbility to lift/move up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to work in a manufacturing environment where frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals, dust, dirt, fumes, extreme heat and cold, wet or humid conditions occurs BenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $27.00 - $37.00 plus benefits.
