In this role, you will develop and maintain strong partnerships with our vendors and suppliers to ensure the seamless delivery of products and services essential to our operations. Your expertise in vendor management, negotiation, and strategic planning will be critical in optimizing vendor performance and fostering collaboration. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesVendor Performance Management:Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance and service quality.Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and assessments, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.Implement strategies to enhance vendor accountability and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.Negotiation and Contract Management:Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions with vendors, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality.Draft, review, and manage vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.Mitigate risks by identifying and addressing contractual gaps and potential liabilities.Relationship Building:Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with vendors through effective communication, regular meetings, and collaboration.Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering a positive vendor experience.Strategic Planning:Develop and execute vendor management strategies aligned with organizational goals and healthcare industry trends.Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and innovation through vendor partnerships.Vendor Relationship Reporting:Generate and present regular reports on vendor performance, contractual compliance, and relationship status to relevant stakeholders.Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.Vendor Selection and Onboarding:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vendor requirements and selection criteria.Evaluate and assess potential vendors' capabilities, financial stability, and compatibility with industry standards.Lead the vendor onboarding process, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies. Job QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field 10-15 years of experience in vendor management and relationship building 5+ years of senior level negotiations experience Ability to manage difficult vendor discussions, uncover partnership opportunities and develop proactive solutionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in contract drafting, review, and managementHigh degree of organization, attention to detail, and time managementAbility to collaborate across cross-functional teams and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to travel 10% of the time, including overnight travel BenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $170,000 - $185,000 and the opportunity to earn bonus, plus benefits.
