Performance Health is looking for a Communications Specialist to join the team. As the Communications Specialist, you will develop and execute internal communication plans and activities including editorial calendar coordination, communication channel management, writing, editing, event support, and other communication tasks to engage and inform employees. You will partner with internal stakeholders from across the organization to develop communication plans and content for our leaders and PH teammates in support of the company’s strategy, culture and goals.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duties satisfactorily. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the company’s strategy, identify key messages and develop content that supports and aligns with the strategy and engages employeesInterview key stakeholders and review relevant content to craft succinct, engaging communicationsProduce, write, edit, coordinate and post content to the company’s employee intranetScript, produce and direct interviews and videosManage and coordinate social media sites in cooperation with the human resources, recruiting and marketing teamsDevelop messaging, communications and announcements for leadersCraft and execute strategic internal communication plans for new programs, policies, and changes in line with corporate, business, operational and HR goalsWrite, edit and distribute content for various internal communication channels, including, but not limited to, digital signage, newsletters, communication boards and other communication toolsPartner with the marketing, creative and other teams to oversee the development of digital and printed communications to support internal programs, projects and campaignsBuild and manage relationships with senior functional, business and HR leaders to understand their communication needs and recommend plans to support effective communicationsEnsure internal communications are timely, consistent, and aligned with strategic messaging across all functions and businesses, including performing regular audits of our standard processes and tools for effectivenessSupport the planning and execution of facility and global town hall meetings and other leader meetings, including presentation developmentMeasure effectiveness of communications regularly and adjust plans based on feedback Performs other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English or related fieldThree (3) years of related work experience in human resources, marketing, public relations or communicationsExperience with Microsoft Office, Teams and SharePointExperience with Zoom productionExperience using photo and video editing software Performance Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
