Performance Health is seeking a Distribution Associate, Inventory Control to join our team in Indianapolis. The Distribution Associate, Inventory Control accurately perform inventory control duties for the distribution center. Completing all assigned tasks productively with a high regard for quality.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Obtains assignment in start up meeting
• Using various computer system-generated reports, audits product locations to verify item, count and expiration dating accuracy
• Identifies and corrects inventory errors
• Sets up new, and adjusts existing, storage locations
• Associate is expected to meet Productivity and Quality objectives
• Adhere to Distribution Center attendance policy
• Investigates inventory discrepancies, and makes appropriate adjustments to inventory in the computer system
• For customer invoice item where inventory is not available, investigates the error and edits the invoice to remove the item
• Alerts the Lead or Supervisor to any irregularities in the product inventory or processes (i.e. count and location errors, product shortages and product damage)
• Maintains the housekeeping standard
• Keeps the distribution center aisles clear and maintains integrity of storage locations
• Supports the company goals for quality and continuous improvement
• Contributes to an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation among all distribution center staff
• Operate forklift or other material handling equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of inventory control and distribution center/warehouse experience
• Experience with yearly or quarterly inventory audits and/or cycle counting. Daily cycle count experience preferred
• Warehouse Management System experience is required; Manhattan experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail
• Strong mathematical abilities – ability to calculate decimals, fractions, weight, and percentages as well as equations and conversions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize incoming work quickly and efficiently
• MS Office experience, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability and willingness to obtain a forklift certification (training is provided)
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Skills in developing and documenting established and newly created processes is preferred
