Plant Operations Manager
276 Cedarburg Medical Indirect Manufacturing & Distribution Cedarburg, Wisconsin, USPerformance Health is seeking a charismatic, motivated and highly organized Plant Manager to join our team. This role will be based at our Cedarburg, WI facility which specializes in production of Rolyan Splinting for Hand Therapy, Rolyan Buoys for the Marine Industry as well as other Specialty Operations. The Plant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations – creating a cultural foundation that embodies safe operations, quality product, a highly productive & collaborative team, and achieving peak operations. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide servant leadership and direct the overall day-to-day activities of the siteProvide coaching and mentoring to all operations employees, and develop team to be a highly effective and collaborative teamDirect, coordinate and prioritize work to ensure all production schedules are met and inventory levels are maintained to ensure product can be delivered to the customers on time and in-fullAnalyze workforce needs and execute accordingly. Partner with HR and/or staffing resources to develop the proper talent pipelinesPartner & coordinate with supervisors and/or team members to onboard new employees to ensure they are trained correctly and they are working safelyWork with EHS Manager to develop and deploy effective safety policies and training to all associates and ensure they are being followedCollect, review and analyze data to identify waste or areas in need of improvement, and implement processes/procedures to address these areasWork with the engineering/maintenance teams to ensure repair and replacement of equipment is completed timely and the PM program is routinely followed Work with the quality organization to review product consistency and address concerns timely Present weekly and/or monthly state of the business to site leads and quarterly to site personnelPartner with Human Resources Business Partner to perform talent reviews and org designCommunicate with other departments as needed to ensure smooth operationsEnsure operating expense budgets are met and reduce costs while maintaining product quality and adequate inventory levelsEnsure all FDA and ISO regulatory requirements are followedDevelop and manage capital plans. Analyze plant effectiveness and provide recommendationsEnforce company policies and procedures. Ensure alignment across the site and cross functionallyProvide guidance on supply chain activities, production standards-routings-bill of materials, systems functionality and process improvementsPerforms other duties as assigned Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline strongly preferred5-10 years of previous experience managing a manufacturing/distribution siteExperience implementing lean manufacturing techniques and identifying areas of wastePrevious budgeting experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office Products To perform this job successfully, an individual must be ab
