Performance Health is seeking a Sr Supply Chain Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining all planning settings in the ERP. Participates in S&OP calls relevant supply planning settings. Maintains supplier accuracy metrics and makes recommendations for change and areas of improvement. Responsible for identifying and mitigating excess inventory and persistent stockouts due to planning settings. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesGenerate supply plans, in alignment to demand plan.Make purchase and planning decisions based on target inventory levels, order fill rates and deviations to forecast.Balance complex set of variables to ensure consistent quality supply of components. Report metrics to key stakeholders and top management; assess impact and root cause of supply gaps, identify opportunities and implement plans for continuous improvement. Maintains master data accuracy and assures they are continually optimized.Expected to be initiator and key contributor to planning process improvements and standard work Actively review and manage Lead TimesIntegral member of cross functional/cross supply chain projects Monitors inventory levels and identifies excess and slow moving inventory and take appropriate action to assure inventory objectives are achieved Performs other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field6-8 years purchasing and planning experience in related industryProficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Detail oriented and excellent multi-tasking skillsPrevious experience interfacing with suppliers a plusKnowledge of and/or experience in a Distribution/Logistics environment.Familiarity with the practices and procedures of inventory control and procurement systems Experience developing partnership relationships with global suppliers Ability to recognize, define, investigate and determine a creative solution to problemsPrevious experience managing projects and/or a project team International import buying and importing experience a plus BenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 plus benefits.
