Performance Health is seeking a Director of ESG, Health & Safety to join our team. In this role, you will develop, implement, and maintain environmental, social and governance (ESG) programs and environmental health and safety (EHS) systems and programs to ensure compliance and minimize risk to Performance Health and its team members. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for creating an EHS/ESG culture of awareness and collaboration within the business environmentDevelopment, maintenance and execution of appropriate disclosure controls and procedures related to ESG; inclusion of key ESG disclosures in regulatory filings. Develop and maintain an ESG dashboard for functional leaders and the executive team. Manage ESG reporting to third parties as appropriateBe responsible for the worldwide coordination, alignment, harmonization, best practice sharing and communication on EHS and ESG programs for Performance HealthFacilitate EHS and ESG program objective setting and facilitate strategic direction for both EHS and ESG programsApply existing proactive safety tools & deploy improvements as neededDevelop and apply proactive ESG tools and deploy improvements as neededLead environmental processes to ensure company and regulatory requirements are met in relation to hazardous/special waste management, water discharge & air permitting obligationsLead ESG targets in correlation with Performance Health 2030 ESG targets Lead effective monitoring of EHS federal (national), state, and local regulatory requirements and risk initiatives; analyze potential impacts on system operations; provide operations and executive management information as appropriateProvide effective leadership, management and coordination in achieving enterprise goals and objectives related to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and aspects of the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) ProgramsCoordinate and engage plant (EHS) personnel and other personnel in the identification, development and implementation of EHS/ESG goals that will positively affect and contribute to the organizationLead both EHS (incidents) reporting and ESG reporting set and deploy standards as neededPerforms other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Business, or related field10+ years of environmental health & safety experience 5-7 years of experience managing corporate ESG and EHS in a distribution or manufacturing environmentEfficient in 5S programs and implementation of systems for a distribution environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred Knowledge of Master Control Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight travel To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
